Wondering who made your Casahara piece? There's a good chance it was one of our women artisans living in the Atlas mountains of Morocco, or in a small village in Southern Turkey. The tradition of handmaking kilim, berber, and mudcloth rugs & pillows (to name a few) has been passed down through generations of women. Each piece is hand-loomed with great care to ensure every detail is in place and made at the highest quality. It's like each artisan's magic is bonded into the fibers of their creations to withstand the test of time.
